Electric Buses Arrive in Islamabad: Which Routes Will They Operate On? Details Inside

Electric buses have started arriving in Islamabad. According to details released by the Capital Development Authority (CDA), 30 out of the 160 electric buses have arrived in Pakistan. With the arrival of these electric buses, citizens will be provided with modern and high-quality travel facilities. Eight buses have arrived in Islamabad from Karachi and have reached the charging point at Jinnah Convention Centre.

Another 22 buses are expected to arrive in Islamabad by tomorrow. Initially, 30 buses will operate on two routes. One route will run from NUST to Orange Line Depot, G-11 to PIMS Hospital. On this first route, the bus will pass through G-11 Markaz, G-10 Markaz, G-9 Markaz, and G-8 before reaching PIMS. The first route will have 13 stops, and a bus will arrive at each stop every ten minutes.

The second route will start from PIMS and go up to Bari Imam. This service will pass through G-7, G-6, Melody, Aabpara, Ataturk Road, Serena Hotel, Foreign Office, Radio Pakistan, and Diplomatic Enclave before reaching Bari Imam. This service will be available from 6 AM to 10 PM.

As per the instructions of the CDA Chairman, a procedure will also be devised to provide subsidies to deserving groups, including persons with disabilities, students, and others.
